Just skimmed through the article. Rather lengthy. Unless I missed it the author did not come across as a much of a fan of the show. Skimmed through their links to 'Allo 'Allo and Keeping up Appearances and it seems they get a little nicer treatment.
 
Not a fan of 'Allo 'Allo but the advantage of KUA was it ended at it's very best, some could argue LOTSW went on beyond it's best..
 
All a case of deciding when to kill the Cash Cow when it comes to series Fawlty Towers is always held up as a good example of getting it right .
