Insight into the characters

I have just finished reading LOTSW, written by Andrew Vine.
I always got the impression that the three main actors were real friends and enjoyed each others company when not filming. This could not be far from the truth.
For example, did you know that Foggy was paid twice that of the other two actors.

It's a brilliant book, I also recommend the Alan J Bell one too. I was surprised Brian Wilde appeared to be a bit of a Prima Donna in real life! so far removed from the Foggy character.

Whether the three were great friends or not, they were very professional when performing. In addition, when you think about it, they all were real troopers as they were involved in performing stunts (or at least part of them) and they were all on the north side of 50!
