I am hoping to see Mr Clarke at the dinner in London and if I get chance I am going to ask him, if the BBC won't film any more how about doing a book to wrap it all up,and as it is a book and fiction how about including all the characters old and new, there would be no rush or pressure and it would be something for us fans to look forward to,is this a good idea or am I barking mad to ask him.

I think it would be great if Roy could write one last nostalgic episode which incorporates the best locations used over the years - such as the Packhorse Bridge. Something easy to film maybe where Cleggy reminisces to Truly for example, of the best times he's had "on the hills". It would be easy to make for the BBC as it would be merely clips put together, but I think it would be a fitting, and personal ending to the series from Cleggys "viwpoint". What do you think?
