Flowers for the Wellies

Our Pearl who is on her way back from Scotland tomorrow has bought these pots in white, she has asked me to ask members what flowers would suit them best

Tulips perhaps as its something Compo would use as an insult to Foggy . If Pearl wanted a reminder of Scotland then the Thistle or Heather would be obvious. I would opt for Poppies in memory of our Fallen Hero , Compo.

Any flower (pretty weed) found at the side of the road or in hedgerows would do. He would be scandalized at the cost of flowers found in a flower shop.

There is horse parsley, nice and wild too, no inroads into Compo's betting money required.

For some reason those plastic flowers with the sunglasses which 'dance' when you play them music seem to be a fitting tribute to Compo!!!

As he (like me) kept ferrets how about a Polecat Geranium or you could just let some mares tail grow wild in them!
