A far cry from what it would have been these days if Auntie was still trading. The series ended before the American influence on Halloween reached its peak I can't begin to imagine the subterfuges Auntie would use to sell all sorts of things .

Times have certainly changed Captain. Auntie would never have put up a sign saying Keep out.

I see they have put handrails up by the door, not surprised with those dodgy steps, which were altered during filming

Possibly could if she tried Arkwright's tactic of mis-spelling "Special with a Ho" so Speciol because those who can't spell will ignore it but there's always one clever dick who'll come in to tell you and then , in his words " I'll have em" so Auntie could have put Ceep Out

Sorry Graham, just realised I repeated what you highlighted on an earlier thread. I see the new paint work is in the blue/grey you hate

And the house the other side of the lane. Grey can look good but doesn't go with the smoked stonework of the area. ( in my opinion)

Had not noticed the steps before. Does seem like an odd step up/down size - street to curb to step to door.
