Anyone want to join me

Used to travel to/From Lytham via A66 and M6 . Often travelled with an out there adventurous colleague who ski'd ,rock climbed etc often as we wound our way back through the hills just south of Teebay there was occasionally hang gliders jumping off and gliding around the ridges . My colleague was desperate to join them I was 180 degrees opposite and was constantly delighted when we couldn't get off the M6 because sure as eggs or eggs he would have approached them and asked if they had a dual person training hang glider so we could go up and like Del Boy how could I chicken out :oops:

I've litterally
Have a great time. You can’t beat getting out and getting the fire going in the evening. We only stay on sites were we can get one going!

I've literally just finished watching All Mod Conned so I may leave lighting fires until I'm more confident if their camping escapades are anything to go by!

We have a mesh fire pit that takes a couple of logs at a time and a bigger washing machine drum for the Winter camps. We put a fire blanket underneath that protects the grass . It works well.

Baked potatoes on the edge of the drum and have been known to cook B89CDDB7-D6D6-4135-9F1D-C7E031867982.jpegin a ridge monkey with a metal rack over the top. My daughter also has this contraption that we cook on then use as a fire pit.
For some reason my photo’s are coming out sideways. I’ve tried reducing the size etc but it still happens.
