At primary school we used to watch a film on the last day of term. In the hall projected onto a large screen. On our last year before heading to the Grammar school (1976) they showed us Carry On Abroad! Every time i watch it now i laugh at how many of the innuendo laden jokes went over our heads. I still love watching the classic ones, for me the later films Abroad, Convenience, Behind,Camping etc before the sorry end with England and Emmanuel. Favourite character, the late great Peter Butterworth as Mr Fiddler.
