I think the matchbox mystery should remain as such personally. I wanted to know at one point but then the magic is gone from that iconic piece, I guess to me much like I'd have loved to have had a cameo part in LOTSW but then again the magic would have been lessened for me, seeing the mechanics...

It's funny that Foggy always seems to dislike smoking, we get several references to Compo smoking from Him that cast it in a less than favorable light but in the Summerwine book covering 'Getting Sam Home" it states that Foggy awakens and has a smoke in bed. Odd how the two seem very different...

I recently went into a charity shop in Marsden and bought a few old Summerwine books and VHS tapes for around 50p for the lot! Some bargains are still available and I don't mind paying from a charity shop to be fair.

The Swan in Marsden appears occasionally, I believe it was used as well ( I frequent that very pub once a month also). FYI the WhiteHouse as mentioned above has been turned into bloody flats recently! I was outraged when I saw it.
