Barry's cars

How many different cars did Barry have? We're watching SW on the Drama channel and he seems to have a different one almost every week!

I tried to get them listed on a post about a year ago, not sure if I got them all. But he had a City Rover, Escort, Citroen C5, VW Polo think he had an Austin Maxi in an earlier episode, but I'm sure there were more. I imagine Barry was a car salesmans dream and would order what he was sold!!!

He even seemed to have the same make in two different colours recently.

Their`s one episode where Barry is driving a car and immediately after Wesley is underneath at the shed
I am sure someone will tell us which episode.
The colour of the car is Red.

Talking of Wesley, it seemed they didn't explain his absence after he died in real life. Is that the case or did I miss something in an episode?

I think that happened with a grey Talbot Samba. First Wesley is underneath it at the shed, the in another scene Barry is dropping Glenda off at Edie's in it, then in the very next scene, Wesley is back underneath it at the shed. I can't remember the episode, but I think it might be a late Foggy one, or an early Truly one. I don't think Compo had died at that point though.

Thanks "imitation" I think you are right about the car.

Of course, with many characters, when they became visibly ill or worse, or even tired (of the show), they were simply written out. So Wesley was written out and never mentioned again. And since the trio was old and not given to much walking, suddenly there was Enwhistle with his handy truck. With Nora, they gave her a one-way trip to Australia. Barry was a special case. He evidently got tired of the part or something like that. He was frequently mentioned at the coffee mornings (my Barry breaks out in spots) but didn't appear for about five years. Suddenly, he was back, no worse for the wear vigorously polishing his car. And did anyone notice? That garage door never ever went up.

So Adanor never saw the Dinosaur did members Dinah or Donna see, sorry, saw the Dinosaur or was the creature never seen by Adanor, Dinah or Donna and only we see sorry saw the Dinsosaur . All the see sawing is making me queasy so i'll stop there:)

There was no direct clear reference to the character passing, but there is an episode where Edie says something along the lines of "mine was like that" that seems to be a clear reference to Wesley.

I mentioned that in an earlier post. The car as someone pointed out was a Talbot. I can't recall what episode it was but I think the car in question was silver or gray (or grey) depending on how you spell it.
