Interesting article in the news today

Very true, and I would think constructing a true dry-stone wall is a quickly vanishing skill. Once when I was watching Gardner's World Monty had someone demonstrating "laying a hedge" it was amazing how much skill and work was involved. So many old arts and skills are disappearing, stonework and carpentry among them, and people who took pride in a job well done, as well as beautiful.
 
Where's Cooper and Walsh when you need them?

It's more work, but volunteers in white coveralls makes a better (and legal) impression.
