Hi All

A brief review of last nights show at the civic hall in Holmfirth.

The show is based around the audience coming up with scenarios for the duo to act out,so there was a lot of fine ad libbing and off the cuff jokes, some of the idea's was Walsh giving Cooper a cookery lesson, How the pair resolved the problem of finding their car had been jacked up on bricks and the wheels stolen while to duo had been snoozing in a quiet country field, Walsh had been bitten on the buttocks by a adder snake and Cooper had to suck the poison out, the duo come across a pregnant lady in a remote spot and she is in labour very funny with help a from one of the audience, an audience member also helped out when the duo came across a man crossed legged in a field praying

All in there was about a dozen sketches they acted out and for a pilot show it was very enjoyable and I do hope they do more now they have the taste for it, if I get to hear any about any further show dates I will post them on the website as I feel sure any summer wine fan will enjoy the experience and maybe get your idea acted out on stage by two fine actors

Terry

PS the duo were also kind enough to appear after the show and chat along with signing photo's

Hi,
I work on behalf of the two actors, Ken Kitson & Louis Emerick who play the police officer (PC's Cooper & Walsh) characters in the show. In August they ran a pilot theatre show in the shows home town, Holmfirth, at the Civic Hall.
The show is unscripted and improvisational where the ideas for the sketches come from the audience. The two actors then carry out the sketch performing in their characters from the show. The pilot show was a success and enjoyed by all.
We are now looking for suggestions from the shows fans for where it may work. So post back and tell us if there is a venue near you where this show may work.
There are 4 dates and venues booked for February and you can check these dates out soon on the myspace page www.myspace.com/fuzzboxmanagement

Please let us know your thoughts.
Thanks

Hi all and Merry Christmas..
You guys are so lucky to be able to see these shows and to live right there where they are filmed.
I live in the States and would give anything to be able to come over there and be a part of the wonderful culture there.
I love LOTSW and many more Britcoms as they are called here.
We get them on PBS but only sporadically..
You never know which show or even year they will show next.
But if I can I do catch them all.
Again thanks for the memories and remember to support the actors whenever you can.

Hi Charlene,
We have been speaking to people from the US through Kens Facebook page and we found the great interest overwhelming. It has been suggested to contact PBS for their fund membership drives for an appearance were perhaps they would run a LOTSW marathon of shows. Anyway this something we are going to try sort out in the new year, so look out for it.

Kind regards
Helen
