Yorkshire accent.

What a lovely child and a lovely accent!

In the sidebar with that film on YouTube, there's a link to film of Patrick Stewart reciting a poem in his native Mirfield dialect. Unintelligible! After I had watched that film, I noticed that a new sidebar was displayed which included a link to Patrick's appearance on Who Do You Think You Are. Absolutely fascinating!

I have just come back from a week in Yorkshire. The accent is great.
 
I love the Geordie accent, but I am biased as I left Forest Hall, Newcastle when I was only nine and lost the accent.
 
such a cute little girl, I love her facial expressions. Blackpool, "did chu went there?", "I had a sandwich and I ate it all". They are so adorable, hate that they grow up. My hubby says I am selfish when I say wish kids wouldn't grow up. Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
