But this is a little different. I know that there are more than one Fairport Convention fans here, I also know there are seperate Richard Thompson fans here, well this video is old, from UK's BBC and it's fundamentally about Richard Thompsons rise from Grammar School lad to date.
BUT, it also had interviews with Swarb, Simon Nichol, Ashley Hutchins, Martin Carthy and many others. It is a gem if you are afflicted addicted like me to English Folk / Folk-Rock.

Be warned, it's verrrrrryyyyyy long! so MAKE THE TIME, get the popcorn :D

 
Tony , You might like to listen to a show called Mastertapes on BBC sounds which John Wilson hosts and interviews artists about their acclaimed album . In series 2 he interviewed Richard Thompson back in 2013 about Rumour and Sigh and the two shows are still on BBC Sounds just search Mastertapes on the app
