Don't know how much of the town it will show,but just to let you all know if you didn't already,that DIY SOS on BBC1 tomorrow night,Thursday,at 9pm is from Holmfirth.
 
Thank's for letting us knoe Pete. Will try and watch it if not I'll record it.
 
Hi Marianna is there any way you get Bbc I Player on your computer?

Marianna,look into something called Expat Shield,it's free,legal,and has a good reputation,it's just that you have to put up with an advert banner on the screen,it allows you to watch the BBC in the USA,never been to the USA (but would love to) and so have never tried it,but it's supposed to work.Check out the site and read some reviews,it might be worth a try.
 
It was set up for ex pats who have a license and are in the States,but anyone can log into it I believe.

It looked great until I read the first few reviews.

"Don't be fooled by the free download, can't use it for UK unless you pay for it."

"Used to be great - now it gives a US IP address."

"No longer free (for BBC iPlayer) BBC iplayer had problems as it was."
 
Watch it on catch up TV, you did not see much of Holmfirth but then again that is not what the show is about
