How long ago was Peter diagnosed with that eye condition? I notice that in the episodes in the 1990's Peter would tilt his head up to look straight ahead. My mom has that condition and she started doing the same thing.

From an interview he gave in 2004 I get the impression it manifested itself around 2000.
