Another New Railcam

Here are a couple more photos from today the second picture has Engine 6990 named Witherslack Hall [named after what is now a school in Cumbria but was built in 1874 . The name is something I can picture Foggy saying and visiting . The great thing about both photos and yesterdays is that NYMR is getting bumper crowds for the event and hopefully its more money in the coffers to keep it running .

Have you seen the comments from NYMR?? The government could slap a ban on home producing of coal (carbon footprint etc) Which means that they may have to stop using coal or import foreign supplies. If they do import , what sort of carbon footprint could that create ? :confused2:

One final pic today , this is 2253 and was a USA Transportation Corps Engine that was first shipped to England in 1943 and saw service during WW2 it was returned to the US only to be shipped to France in 1944 . When the war ended it was shipped to Poland and was used on the State Railway . This is its last weekend on NYMR . It was fully restored by them after the service in Poland and was then a static display at the Railway Museum in York before returning to NYMR. It is going into service on the Dartmouth Steam Railway.
