I shall go for There Goes the Groom, where he had the unenviable task of providing the crossover from Foggy to Truly.

I gather I can't vote for another episode, so I can't mention some sterling work he did two or three years later in a special trilogy, so I won't.
 
From Audrey Nash to the widow Dilhooley because the unflappable image of the ex Copper is severely dented when he believes he is to meet his former sweetheart .He basically goes to pieces at the thought but snaps out of it when he actually clocks her, definitely not how he remembered her:)
