I have lived in Holmfirth most of my life and have fond childhood memories of watching the filming of The Last of the Summer Wine in the days of Compo, Clegg and Foggy and then watching the finished product on T.V later on. I always found it so exciting!
Our house in Hinchliffe Mill was also used both in scenes, and to film from, as it was located opposite Wesley's garage and his house so lots of memories too of sitting outside not being allowed in the house until they'd finished!
