And Here is the Weather.

"I'm atheist"

Wish I could be so certain! While I'd rather there was no god,
don't want to bet my life on the outcome. Rather keep
an open book.

I console my Catholic granddaughter who's worried that she won't meet me in heaven by saying that if your god is has just and forgiving has you say then anyone who lives their life in a good way by helping others and being selfless with empathy and kindness he'll let them in anyway.

Longer the piece of string the greater the storm. Poor old Michael Fish must have been wrapping a parcel all those years ago when he dropped his ball , of string, and it rolled down his stairs and out the front door . :08:

So Caroline is on her way. And I'm reliably informed by the BBC that tomorrow we'll have barmy 12c descending to 1c on Friday before hitting -1c on Saturday, the I've earmarked for the final xmas shopping. Everyone message Dick and ask him if he's got this woolies on.

When I was working, I was on the 5th floor which was the height of the flagpole across the street. I ended up giving a weather forecast to some visiting firemen like this: If the flag is waving, then it is windy. If the flag is wet, then it is raining. If the flag is still, then it is calm. And so on and so forth.

Sky signal went kaput so I ring Shy and he talked me through the process while we were waiting for the box to reboot he asked if there was anything else I'd like to talk about so of course being British we fell naturally into the weather topic I asked if he had any snow yet and he said not yet and that he was in Sheffield, I said that we go up that way a lot and he ask where, I told him Holmfirth and he knew it well, said how beautiful it was. So this thread isn't totally off topic. :D

Where she began, I can't begin to knowing
But then I know the wind is growing strong
Was in the summer
Then summer became the winter
Who'd have believed she'd come along
Hands, grabbing hands
Reaching out, holding me, holding you

Gust Caroline
Bad times never seemed so Bad
I'd be inclined
To believe they never would
But now I ...............
