This is the only episode I have not seen. Although their are 200 episode on U tube this isn't one of them .If someone could post a link for this I would be very thankful.

I have it two ways.

I have a DVD image containing several SW episodes of that period.
Plays a bit stumbly.

I also have it as an AVI file.

Not sure how to get either to you though.

Thank you Chuck. May take you up on that. Can send you my address to your inbox here. I may still have your email address from a while ago when we chatted on Dad's Army. Would need to look that up. I'd be glad to send you a few bucks back to cover postage and media costs.

Wish there was a better way to do this, to send a big AVI file
online. Cannot figger it out. In any case I can copy the
AVI file to a DVD, or you could send me a flash drive
to copy it to, and then send it back.

I can try to share a Google Drive folder link with you Chuck. That way all you would need to do was upload it. I'm still new with all that but it worked sharing some stuff with my sister the other month. I have several gigs worth of space on it.

I do not see how Howard could wear two sweaters at once and not keel over. Just one sweater would have me super warm!

I am not sure but I don't believe you have been to Yorkshire and areas like the North East of England where I live two sweaters are on occasion suitable attire to combat the weather .

I can assure you some of us regularly wear two sweaters. As I sit here I have two t shirts, a shirt, a pullover and a thick heavy tweed coat and I am not overly warm despite the room temperature registering 22 degrees. I just feel the cold and should really be in a much warmer climate.

Well you certainly should not be in Yorkshire Rod

I had a workmate ( long since passed on ) who showed his snaps about a first visit to Spain. His wife in swim wear and he in shirt, pullover and jacket, with socks on . All this to sit on the beach!:eyesroll:.................So you are not alone Rod!:42:

On my first family holiday to Arenal in Majorca in the 1960s , I remember my father travelling in a suit , shirt and tie and packing jackets, trousers and suits as they were instructed they would have to dress for dinner , this was July and it was absolutely sweltering , my mother had similar formal suits and dresses ,its totally unheard of now . The other lasting memory was the fact that people smoked on the plane , my father was a smoker and smoked Players Navy Cut there was more clouds inside the plane than out .
